The Festa di Natale 2010 was held on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Massimo da Milano Restaurant at the corner of W. 25th and Detroit Avenue. Members who paid their dues by 2/28/2010 received a FREE TICKET to attend! It was great to see so many members and their entire families together last year. A wonderful time was had by all that attended enjoying an afternoon ushering in the holiday season with fabulous food, music and good friends!  Hope to see all of you at this year's event!

What a wonderful Feast Day we had in August! The weather was beautiful, the company was great, and the food was exceptional! It was great to see such a huge turnout as we honored our Patron Saint on at St. Rocco Church. 

This year, $500 Scholarships were awarded to students at the reception that followed Mass and and additional $500 was awarded to the charities listed in the student's essays! School Report Cards and Essays were submitted by candidates eligible for the Societa Alcarese di San Nicolo` Politi Scholarship.

Congratulations to all of the recepients of the 2011 San Nicolo` Politi Scholarship!

If you haven't been on one of our Casino Gambling trips, then you've got to plan to come out some time! Everyone - gets fired up and joins us for a fun-filled day. This year headed off to the Mountaineer in West Virginia in June.  The chartered bus departed at 9:00 a.m. from Fragapane Bakeries; 28625 Lorain Road, North Olmsted for a short ride to south! Cost will be $25 per person with a $25.00 incentive given by the casino in slot dollars!  Refreshments such as coffee and donuts are always provided before our the departure, so plan to arrive early.  Our last trip sold out very quickly, so plan ahead and join us next time!

Another hugely successful Clam Bake was held again this year on October 8, 2011 from 5:00-11:00 p.m. at the Westside Irish American Club located at 8559 Jennings Road in Olmsted Twsp., Ohio. Everyone enjoyed the Full Bake which included clams, baked chicken, sweet potato, corn, bread and butter, appetizers, open beer and wine bar for $1.00 and of course dessert and coffee! Plenty of fun for all including side boards and raffles benefiting San Nicolo Charities. Thanks to all that donated wine bottles for the Wine Cellar Raffle, that helped to cook, serve, tend bar, and sell tickets to make our 6th Annual Clam Bake a huge success. Our second ever Summer Family Picnic was held on Sunday, July 24th at the Independence City Pavilion located on Selig Drive.  

Join us next year and once again enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs, Italian sausage, buns and  condiments.  Members that attend are being asked to bring a dish to share or donated food items used as prizes thoughout the raffle (every 20 numbers called).  Don't let the heat stop you from enjoying this festivity! Home made goodies are always a hit and we're asking members to bring something again this year. We need lots of volunteers to make this a successful event so please plan on helping, if possible!

Membership dues of $20 were due by February 28, 2011.  By paying before 2/28/2011 members became eligible for a free ticket to the Christmas Party in December!  Thanks to all of our members that have already paid their dues.  Your promptness is greatly appreciated to help continue our club's efforts! Please contact our Treasurer if you still have not paid your dues and wish to do so.
